Where immaturity prospers
Gotham Rogues @ Heinz Field

Gotham RoguesHeinz Field was the scene of filming for the new Batman movie on Saturday. Several Steelers, including Ben Rothlisberger and Hines Ward, are members of the fictional football team, the Gotham Rogues. Former coach, Bill Cowher came back to Pittsburgh to be the coach of the Gotham Rogues, in the movie. The mayor of Pittsburgh even got a part as the kicker for the Gotham Rogues. And, of course, thousands of Pittsburghers went down to Heinz Field to be fictional fans of the Gotham Rogues. Even cooler, in the spirit of Pittsburgh, the Rogues wear black and gold uniforms. I didn't attend the filming event at Heinz Field, but now, I, sort of, wish that I did. After all, the event contained elements of my three favorite things all wrapped into one, comic books, football, and movies.

Take a look at the Rogues jersey, black and gold, baby...

Bane, the super-villain in the movie, could be seen on the jumbotron...

Here's a field level view of Bane . It looks like the same shot that's on the jumbotron..

Bill Cowher could be seen walking the sidelines of Heinz Field again - only this time, he's coach for the Gotham Rogues. Here's a shot of him walking on the field - he's the one in the suit.

Her's a shot of Hines Ward...

And, here's Hines amidst some destruction on a Tumbler...

A whole fleet of Tumblers could be seen down on the Field...

Pretty cool stuff.

Anyway, unrelated to the scene at Heinz Field, but related to the Batman movie, some photos of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman have, recently, been released. Take a look...

Finally, here's a couple of photos of Anne Hathaway's stunt double accidentally taking out a super expensive IMAX camera on set at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh...

Anyway, that's pretty much it for today. I missed out on seeing all of the Batman action down at Heinz Field on Saturday, but I suspect that there was a lot of long and boring periods of sitting around while waiting for something to happen or see. I'm not a big fan of boredom; so, it's, probably, best that I didn't go.
