New Batman Movie to be Filmed in Pittsburgh

It's official, the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises will be filmed, primarily, in Pittsburgh, PA which, by the way, is where I live. Pittsburgh has a lot of really cool Gothic architecture that, certainly, fits the darkness of the Christian Bale series of Batman flicks and I'm very excited to see the place that I call home in a Batman movie. It's not really that terribly surprising that the new Batman movie is being filmed in Pittsburgh. Since, the 1990's, a lot of movies have been filmed in the Steel City and Pittsburgh has sort of become the Hollywood of the East. There are a number of reasons why major film studios would want to shoot in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh has a wide variety of scenery that filmmakers can take advantage of - urban and rural - old and new. More importantly, It doesn't cost the studios nearly as much money to shoot in Western Pennsylvania as it does in Hollywood or New York, for example. And, of course, the city welcomes and encourages it. After all, It creates jobs and it showcases Pittsburgh to the world thereby drawing economic interest to the region. So, everybody wins.

Anyway, back to the movie. Of course, Christian Bale will play the Dark Knight.

Tom Hardy will play Bane...

Anne Hathaway will play Catwoman. That should be very interesting to see.

By the way, Anne is fearless when it comes to fashion. Check out Anne's nearly see-through clothing...

Doesn't leave much for the imagination. Very interesting, indeed. Seriously though, she's a pretty good choice for the role and should make a great Catwoman.

Still, if I were to cast a Catwoman, I would choose an actress with some serious cleavage. That's just me. I guess that's why I'm not in Hollywood choosing actresses for superhero movies. I'm a little boob-centric when it comes to those kind of things. That's not to say that Anne Hathaway doesn't have what it takes, she does. I would just go a little bigger. Something along the lines of these...

If Kim Kardashian could act, I would select her to play Catwoman. She's got exactly what I want to see in a Catwoman costume...

Then again, regardless of her acting abilities, I would select Kim Kardashian to play the role of Catwoman. She's SO bodacious. Like I stated earlier, I'm totally aware of the fact that I'm way too boob-centric to objectively select quality actresses. Sorry, but I can't help it.
