Alice CooperAlice CooperThe year was 1979. Rock's craziest star landed on the pages of Marvel Premiere #50. In fact, the entire comic book was devoted to him. Alice Cooper's debut in comic books was quite an oddball event, but it worked - at least for that single issue. I'm sure that it certainly made Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and the rest of Kiss very, very jealous. Sure, Kiss was a comic book hit at the time. In fact, Kiss is still a hit in comics in 2012 - Think Archie Meets Kiss. But, IMHO, no rocker in history made such an insane debut as Alice Cooper did in that 50th issue of Marvel premiere.
